Attorneys, living with or without them?

I'll never forget, maybe about 25-30 years ago, my father said, "this is going to be bad, attorneys can now advertise". I dont remember all the specifics, but the tv commercials started with the ambulance chaser's looking for victims. Its all been down hill from there. Physical therapy shops on each corner around here. I know a person that was rear ended about 4 times in 2 years. He rec about 4-6k for each accident. Only one accident was real. The others where intended.

I got ripped off by two off these scumbags. The first used up my retainer ($2000.00) "Strategizing" and never contacted the other side. Then billed me for $5000.00 more for "strategizing." Never contacted the other side. The second took my case and $1800.00. Then waited till the statute of limitations was almost up. Then told me that the most he could get was $900.00 from the other side. He said it wasn't worth him going any further. My sister was dragged by a city bus. The lawyer settled and took off to south america. My brother won a case worth a few hundred thousand. His lawyer took off to Mexico. When he ran out of money, he came back to the U.S. My brother found out and sued the lawyer. Guess what? The lawyer tried to settle with him by selling a home he didn't own. The slime took off to mexico again. I talked to the director of the local BAR. She told me that there were too many complaints for her staff to handle and the local attorneys knew this.

Sorry to hear that, these guys are the ones that couldn't be real attorneys.

"Why fix it? Blame someone else for breaking it." That's funny, I tease the girls that work for me all the time, saying "why did you do that". When it reality we all know it was my mistake. lol

My neighbor is a retired judge. She doesn't have too many nice things to say about the local attorneys.

Don't get me wrong. There are some good reputable attorneys. It's just not many here. The only good thing that some of these guys do is retire or worse.

Television here in central Florida is inundated with these ambulance chasers, I thought when I left New York I would get a brake...It's worst here. You have Sheriffs resigning from the force to become Liars. Here's a line ' Did you purchase the wrong item at your local supermarket? maybe if the advertisement was more specific, you wouldn't have wasted your time" Official Attorney.

Whose worse a used Car Sales man or and Attorney?
