Andy's Xzess 2 video to show you how well they handle but lose the winglets and you will be able to keep your COG way back and there will be no blow overs.

            Douggie,
Thanks for the phone call last night. I really enjoyed it and I hope we get to shake hands soon. I hope the pictures and videos help you decide. This is the third Xzess 2 I have owned and they have taken me from 70 kph though to 140 kph. The removal of the winglets is a must if you want to stop these boats from reaching for the sky.

Douggie here is a video of Andy's Raptor rigger. You could drive south of the border to pick one of these up if Brian is still making them

Girls I have just built a new FE boat.
Setup is a mono hull on 12 volts though a 2 speed esc that also has 2 reverse speeds and driving a Big Bugger plastic prop. I am thinking of contacting GFreak for hop up suggestions but maybe Douggie can supply one of his black motors for more speed.

Pics now and videos to come tomorrow I hope...

G freaks can top that, you need a smaller ESC to reduce weight!

Good point. The driver is also on a diet for the same reason.
This could end up being a 3 point hydro as I am thinking of putting outriggers on the ends of the motor mount bracket. Some padding behind the driver to act as a seat would be good too. There should be enough room for a few cans of beer on the same bracket/parcel shelf. For longer rescues I might carry a few McD's in a 12 volt food heater/cooler. Solar panels up front and a water proof stereo and I ready for even the longest of rescues.

Took my rescue sit on canoe to the lake today and tested it with the new electric outboard. Man did I have to hang on as it accelerated up to its 3.5 kph top speed. Water skiing next week when I get a driver.
Seriously it was a real pleasure to sit back and do 6 laps of the lake and barely hear the motor. I ordered a deep cycle battery for it today and I am thinking of moving the electrics to a more convenient place.
Top speed was 3.5 kph on the high setting and 2.5 kph on the low setting. The motor has only 18 pounds of thrust so with a bigger motor the speed would go up by quite a bit but run time would come down also. I guess we all know the speed versus run time issue. I do think in the future a bigger motor might find it's way onto the side of this little boat.

Trim some weight out of the hull for more runtime, m8.....
