    Attention Simon O New Zealand

Simon I have just conned a Garmin Forerunner 201 out of someone that did not know how much it was worth. That being the case I am going to give you my old Forerunner 101 so you can get the speeds of your boats. It comes with the manual and I have setup a Custom page so you can see the speed of your boats there. I will post it to you before the weekend I hope. Next weekend you should be able to use it if you are not busy at work. This will make it much easier for you to see if you have made improvements when you change the setup.
Maybe someone can send you a camera so we can see some video of your NZ Krabs on YouTube

Um...where do I start. Those who PM me lot know that I am never lost for words, well I was when I read this one from Paddy.

Paddy is a man who has sent me, at his cost, a Fiegao 7XL, a pair of FP 4900 4S packs, FP balancer.

Now he wants to send me a gps.

I do know what to say.
    THANK YOU !!!!!

How the fark I will fit it in the hull may be a challange.
When it gets here I will see where it will fit.

Paddy you are a star !!

Paddy, you are a sweetheart. That is what FE companionship is all about and believe me folks Tasmania is a long way away from New Zealand and interesting how friendships and respect can be realised with a keyboard.

Danny, that is the system if someone sells something without knowing the current value of the item, that is their problem. We all love bartering and trying to get the best deal, just look at this forum's swap shop. To con someone, that is the duty of the seller not the buyer

Con: Used as a verb meaning to deprive of by deceit.

Anyway you sugar coat it, it is still not smelling very good to me. Maybe you and others see it differently? To each his own!

Mayby it's just a bad choice of words to say he got a great deal? No need to cloud this nice jesture any more than I already have.

Danny do not be so quick to Judge. I got that Forerunner 201 on ebay and it was just the way the auction went. I guess no one had a great need for it so it went for a song (and no I did not have to sing for it).

I grew up in a time when people passed things they no longer needed on to their neighbors and this is all I am doing. In Simon I see someone with a special gift and I am just trying to help him achieve his goals sooner than normal. I used the word conned because I would not want people to think I was a nice person but now you have made me let the cat out of the bag

Well said Paddy and Douggie! I grew up wearing clothes from our neighbor across the street.

I have seen the pictures of you in that mini skirt on the internet Chuck. I bet you wished your neighbor had been a boy. Nice legs though

I have to agree. I was fortunate enough to have some local guys here running FE boats that have become good friends and freely offer advice based on their experience. To top that, they've helped me assemble and take care of props so that I can have fun running on the water.

I'm forever in their debt. Meanwhile, I find it difficult to return the favor, but I try every chance I get! The only regret I have is that one of them decided not to continue with the hobby and he is surely missed. Best of all, I found them through this forum.

                          Thanks guys!

Ben I have seen you helping others many times on this forum. You can bet it makes the guys that taught you happy to see you passing on the things you have learned.

Danny (Diegoboy) has often given away things here on this forum also but makes it fun for those that participate. I am not the only one on here with a big heart. This forum is filled with people with big hearts and that is why I love this place.
