Being a 2 door it's not very practical as they would have to call in another unit to haul someone off to jail

they actually do have the older camaro's as highway patrol cars...my guess is that they use them to help chase down a suspect...then the regular crown-vic's come in after for the transport....saleens7, the wookie of rc boatingComment

In the 1980s the Alaska Troopers used special-edition Mustangs for manning speed traps, etc. These B&W cars worked fine for issuing tickets....choppers used to trap the speeders but it wasn't practical to land the chopper for each bust.

IMO, These new Camaro's lost site of the original car looks, I hate American muscle cars, over price big heavy cars with low gas mileage...these cars maybe 412hp, but there also 3500lb turds lol. I hate the hype on these cars!

The State Troopers use everything under the sun here from ordinary SUV's (saw a blue Expedition with 2 cars pulled over on the way to work this morning) to new Challengers. Most are unmarked except hidden lights. We had AMC Javlins in the 70's, Mustangs in the 80's and now we even re-use drug bust cars too. Ever seen a Porche or BMW in B&W? Pretty cool!
They are driving 18 wheelers and even a old beater pickup pulling a generator in my County...nothing is off limits!

Is that Evo an English police car? it looks like it, we have an Evo in our town too think its an evo7 though not that new, we do have some pretty hot police cars over here.
