I think the USA needs to start looking serious at Tariffs like Germany......without them, we are not going to have any production facilities left here.

The stock market and CEO pay has caused all of this......buy parts from China to get costs down and the CEO and stock holders get a bonus for the stock rising. Workers are slowly eliminated and squeezed, production facilities are shut down. Tax revenue starts to suffer and the Government raises taxes on less to make up the difference. It cannot continue this way.

Unfortunately, Steve, China has MFN status which eliminates almost every possibility of protective tariff.
