Good to see that you have decided to stay Douggie............................

Your comment cracked me up John ( the outnumbered cannucks )...............

Sad to say but I have the same feelings for RRR lately , just not the same there anymore for some reason ( for me ) . on Stevens site I really feel like I am a welcome member and part of something unique and cool.......
Necessity is the mother of invention.............

Peter, thank you. It is a shame that many young/newbies do not search first but post silly questions. I do not suffer fools well. All questions are valid with a sense of decorum to their quest.

If a new user asks questions that YOU feel are "silly" then just ignore the post. You don't have to comment on every post here on OSE. It's not your job to see that every question has an answer. Those that know the answer and are willing to reply, will do so. You, on the other hand, should simply ignor them and move on to the next post.

A very interesting reply Danny and as a Mediator why are you replying?

Now you feel that you can tell me my job here on OSE too? I mediate, that doesn't prevent me from being a user as well. Remember I was a user 1st. (the 1st user to be exact). If young people get under your skin & new people get under your skin, Then this site is not for you my friend. This site caters to the new as well as the experienced. It caters to the young as well as the old. Get over it because that fact is not going to change. You will not conform OSE to suit your desires (a 35yo+ forum for boaters with 5+ years of experience only). So please grow up and let it go already.

Danny, young people I love, twits are another matter. You have done a stellar job as a mediator, but friends are friends and that may cause damage.

Doug you have to realize some of these kids are 10 years old. The future of rc boating users.

My son is 11 and visits a aquarium forum on a daily basis. The questions he asks are basic at best, but I'm proud that he asks the questions and researches the product. Sure the guys get upset with him once in a while. Its all part of belonging to an open forum.

You just don't realize how much "damage" you have caused. Every time there is an issue between members, YOU are always one of the two members. Why is that? It's come down to wherever I find trouble, I find you. It is always the same thing...

Steven, I could not agree more my eldest grandson Luke (6 years old) took my SV for a spin, it was great to watch his experience but some young 15 year olds do not undestand respect
