All kidding aside, I like these debates. They are by far the most civil I have had with anybody on the left.

If I may take the opportunity to clarify Bill's statement when He referenced the word color.

Color is used as a transitive verb:

      1. To impart color to or change the color of.
      2.
      a. To give a distinctive character or quality to; modify.
      b. To exert an influence on; affect: The war colored the soldier's life.
      3.
      a. To misrepresent, especially by distortion or exaggeration: color the facts.
      b. To gloss over; excuse: a parent who colored the children's lies.

Otherwise stop trying to inject bias, into his comments based on his demographics.

              Ya know what

Both parties suck...I'd think you would know that by now. I am not Reg. Republican by the way, I am a Democrat. Have fun losing everything you have, I will be right behind you.

I'm not that surprised. I saw who he married. In the words of Hank Jr, he's "just carryin' on an old family tradition."

Yea Arnold married up, so now his children will be heirs to the Kennedy political dynasty. Shoot, I'm 22nd cousin to the queen of England.

Tom McClintock was the front runner in the recall until Arnold Kennedy threw his hat into the ring. He should have stayed in Hollywierd. I think the state would have been much better off instead of electing this Liberal in Republican clothes.

Steve, you're right . Both parties suck, and what they suck is the content of our wallets. I am not a Rebublican, I'm a Conservative. Maybe it's time for the Nationalist Party (no Bill, I do not mean the National Socialist Party).

Nah, We need the Whig and Federalist Party to return. Like I've said, a country with 304 million people and you only have 2 parties. Sounds like two sides of the same coin to me.

Exactly. And that coin USED to be in my pocket. Now it's gone and all I get is lip service (and not the kind you pay for on El Cajon Boulevard).

                            Well

That war was fought and the North won. Yes, many think the civil war was only fought over slavery, which it WAS not. The war was over how large the Federal Gov. would be vs. States Rights and the right to tax everything is sight. Slavery was going away over time anyway, yes, it speeded it and thanks for that. However, the feds won and that's why it will soon be 40% of the GDP.

The only option I see is for Christains to take over the Democrat party and make things right within.

That COULD possibly happen; but my guess it would take 40 years or so. Everything in life seems to be cyclical. Maybe the offspring of Liberals that aren't aborted will "Rebel" against their parents by becoming Conservatives and/or Christians.

I think we should start the survivalist party! No more free handouts ... each emergency room visit paid by medicare should result in at least 25 hours of community service - and go up depending on services and meds. For every 25 dollars in food stamps 2 hours of community service will be required. There will be no free lunch - if you don't have the money you better have the time!
