In reality this is nothing more than a typical 3-point hydro with adjustable/shock absorbing riding surfaces. It is not a hydrofoil - I've seen similar prototypes in magazines for at least 40 years. The hype in the listed sites and others is typical BS, packaging someting old as something new to fill the pages of blogs and "Popular Mechanics"-type magazines. But whachagonnado, keep printing the same old articles about Bayliners and Fountains?
Much is made of the 70 mph speed like this is somehow exceptional, but no mention of the actual power used to get there. The video is not 70 mph. Yep, we'll all be buying those $500,000 boats any day now....
All that said, it is a cool-looking design and I'm glad you posted it!
