Yup. Did you see the videos of where he crashed it? It was in a spin and the wing folded. I find realistic flying more impressive, but you couldn't beat the sound unless you had Saito radials in it!

The crash video was just heart breaking. I never got a chance to see this up close, but friends of mine who have said it was an incredible plane.

The really sad thing is that it has been reported that the cause was failure to install the bolts holding on the outer wing panel. It had happened before, but only caused a slight loosening of the wing. This time it was fatal.

Thanks, Jay...that was one bad crash. You never realize the size of that plane until it is carried by men and you can see the comparison of it.
