Yes, and it was never lost. His birth certificate was certified as authentic by the Secretary of State of Hawaii. That should have ended it for all but the most deluded of people. You know, people that still think the Earth is flat or that Elvis is alive.

It interests me how Rush left out of his tirade the long list of Republicans who have also been corrupt in office. Folks like Agnew, Nixon, Duke Cunningham, and on and on. The sad thing is it happens in both parties. But the really sad thing is how often it seems it is the Republicans who try desperately to occupy the moral high ground while committing similar, and sometimes more heinous acts.

This is one of my major problems with the Right Wing. The concept they try to sell that they are the One True Protector of the Country and the Uncorrupted ones. They jump on any chance to point out the transgressions of a Democrat and then cry foul when a Republican is caught.

So Clinton was beneath contempt for lying about a BJ while it is just mean to go after Newt for divorcing his terminally ill wife on her death bed while having an affair with a younger woman. Neither is acceptable, but somehow in the Republican mind what Newt did was "unfortunate" while what Clinton did strained the very seams of our Democracy.

Edwards is slime for his affair, but it was just fine for McCain to divorce his wife who stood by him while he was a POW but lost her beauty queen figure due to a horrible accident. Oh, and then lie about the timing of his affair with Cindy prior to his divorce.

Edwards, scum. McCain, POW so its is OK.

To me the first thing I think when I think of Republicans is hypocrisy.

And the hate mongers like Limbaugh are the cheerleaders for this kind if vile crap. Limbaugh spent YEARS railing on about low-life drug users and the ACLU. But when exposed as a drug addict himself and helped by the ACLU to fight his legal battles nobody said a thing. This is the guy you use as a source?? And then try to say that character matters??

And I guess you still believe in Santa Claus and "global warming?" Even though southern California is about to be hit with the coldest stream of weather its experienced in decades. And the same goes for Miami, normally still in the 80's right now but are dipping down into the 40-50's. I guess my SUV isn't hurtng the atmosphere after all.

Who cares if he got a BJ or puffed on some weed. Have you had an alcoholic beverage, lied to your parents, missed school, pretend to have a holier than thou attitude, etc. If you have not, there is a spot for you in the heavens. Just for giggles Andy, Google "hate monger" add "limbaugh" in the advanced field. I get 11,500 hits with the two associated with each other, so I am hardly the only one who thinks this.

And I used to think Limbaugh, Hannity, etc. were entertainers, but both are perceived as journalists more than entertainers. In fact Hannity now often refers to himself as such. That is when it serves his purpose to do so. Other times he claims not to be one.

The perception among a growing number of Americans is that Rush Limbaugh is as much a journalist as Bob Woodward. According to a survey by the Annenberg Public Policy Center released yesterday:
