            Darin,
on the first video it seems to me that the airplane is a bit too crisp when compared to the rest of
the image around it... I think it's a fake... fun nonetheless.

I think the first one has been dubbed with an RC plane. But I do find this RC helicopter truly amazing.

Yep, that's Alan Szabo from Las Vegas. That video is 4 years old. He's BETTER now!! Amazing what he can do with an RC heli. His little brother Danny is no slouch either!!

Darin, it was pretty obvious that it was a fake. My son spotted it in just a few moments and he is in the film business. Do not believe everything you see and read.

                      Ya...that's just....wow.
To me whats more amazing is it didn't stall. I couldn't even get my old RC10GT to stay lit after rolling over and landing back on the wheels....

Consensus is that they CGI'd the wing out. For one thing the spin is in the wrong direction. A plane with one wing will ALWAYS spin into the missing wing since there is no lift on that side!!

Plus look at the pilot when the planes first touches down. Much too small and the grass is out of proportion as well. And it just flat looks like a model as well. The spinner is also a nice CF spinner common on models.

They did a decent job of faking it, but it is still a fake.

OK, I cannot resist. This is a PERFECT example of why YouTube is a very questionable source of information. It can be fun, but you have to seriously examine what is there!!

Not true, especially with a highly aerobatic airplane such as the model shown. The aileron authority on these planes is tremendous and they will roll either way with one wing, depending on which way the pilot rolls it. Watch the ailerons if you want to know what is going on.
