Thanks everyone. Of course she knows about the boats. I was told about the up keep on "white" gold, we have discussed upgrading down the road. What venues charge for a wedding was a bit surprising. Boat budget is taking a hit no doubt.Comment

Yea you normally have to get re-dipped in Rhodium periodically.
As soon as you mention "Wedding", charges go up 30% easy. Best advice I can give, is don't have a wedding you can't afford. My cousin has been married 8yrs+ and is still paying off her wedding. I never understood that.
My wife and I stuck to a strict budget for our wedding and was one of the best things we did. We spent what we saved. No Credit Cards! Don't wanna start your marriage in debt.
