Help to identify car by tailgate please

I'd have to go make a special trip to a different city for that. The only thing printing the ball will do is see if the person was ever printed them self. Anyway its all good. Interesting experience.

Road rage. He didn't like how fast I was going while passing other vehicles so he decided to throw a golf ball at me, clipping my ear and bouncing around in my car. My ear is fine. Reported it to local police but, seems like I got the plate wrong or he is running stolen plates.

Can anyone help me with this?

Looks almost like a Ford Focus but, could be Mazda or Toyota, etc...

Photos will go to the police later on.

Any help is appreciated. Crappy old camera could not get the plates when I later caught up to him. He noticed I caught up to him in my yellow car, go figure and started evasive driving almost cutting the blue car off also seen in a couple of the three pics...
Blue car had to swerve and brake to avoid him passing from the right in very tight traffic.

Definitely corolla.

Just not sure what year. You see, none of the cars mentioned have that flat trunk like that.
