Dx7s

I'll be expanding my RC hobby to boats, i'm still big into planes and jets.

Has anyone successfully used an air radio such as a DX7S for their boats radio, if so how does it run?

I use my DX6i for sailboats all the time with the marine recievers.
Use a pistol grip radio for the fast boats now but for many years used stick radios.
My DX6i is the DSMX version but not the latest fancy new DX6. Binds fine with marine RX's.

Thanks, I'll use my Dx7s for now until i buy a decent pistol grip.
