A pause from RC Boats - Time to update the shop!

Well, I hope you all had a GREAT Christmas Season, and are experiencing a happy New Year to this point!

Over the holiday season, I received an RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme reloading press, which I've been wanting for some time.

Well... you can't just put it ANYWHERE, so I decided to update the shop. Tore out a bunch of old storage cabinets, shelves, etc... It's a total mess right now.

Mudded and taped the old existing sheetrock, then primed and painted. A trip to IKEA netted some "As-Is" cabinets that fit the bill perfectly. Another trip is going to yield a set of wall cabinets and a table-top/desk to fit in the 6-foot space between the cabinets.

Work in progress, but should be nice when I'm finished.

Man I really need to do the same thing in the basement. My set up was fine at first. It's amazing how this hobby morphs on you.LOL

Good luck with the remodel! Looks like you're milling around pretty good.

Cool new toy for your shop. (Must talk before your next trip down )

Holidays got me a new toy which was converted right away into a substitute for lifting props :

Seems the weekends never quite yield as much progress as I think they will, but still making some headway...

Working on the doors now, and I came up with a boat storage idea for that top shelf that should increase it's capacity a bit. Stay tuned for that...
