I came across this on a Chinese web. It is a new Russian sub, since we are talking about KGB hulls and the likes, I thought these shots of the prop is quite interesting.

They are seriously de-tongued!
Somebody should tell them that they might lose this prop if they keep using the bullet prop nut , they should have used Zuber lock nut.

there is a prop there thats just a cover so the prop can't be photographed by anyone.

I was going to use that as a lamp shade.

Seriously, I can't understand why the Russians would not cover the prop, I understand a lot goes into the design of the prop, was that a decoy? Or may be they know they are behind and it is an old variety. Also why is it so small? I have seen props from US subs that are much larger , albeit they are nuclear powered. That Russian sub is not N-powered.
