    Lookey what I found today :-) ......

    Hello everybody ,

The nasty inversion thats been hanging over us keeping the temps in the low 20's & making everybody gloomy finally decided to blow away. Today turned into a bright sunny 42° day , so I just had to grab my riding gear, saddle up & go for a ride. While I was out toolin' around, look what I found about 2 miles from my place .........

A nice big water hole that's just itching to be boated on . I found it tucked way back in a biigass subdivision called cayuse creek. When I rolled up there were several hundred Canadian geese hanging out on it. Sorry I couldn't get them in the pic, but they didn't agree .

Its a good sized piece of real estate, complete with dual water fountain's. I have a sneaky suspicion there's lots of trout, bass & a few sturgeon too, if I know fish & game around here. Looks like the kind of place that will soon become a new fe boat hole, especially after the west end thaws out......

I thought ya'll would enjoy the pics, time to tuck my scooter in for the night .....

Those geese need to come home to BC where it is warm. No ice here.
That is a nice spot Jim. You can run figure 8's around the fountains. Nice ride too there.

      Thanks Shawn ,

We have a crap load of ducks and geese of all types here. I think we're a main stop over point with all the water access we have here, they love it here. It was a good day to sazddle up, that's a 2007' V-Star Classic. I am glad I found this water hole, its quite a bit bigger than the nearest hole that I use when I am short on time.

This hole rivals the big pond we usually use in Nampa. Hopefully there's no dead spots on this one. I guess i'll find out soon enough. I may just do the maiden run on my Villain since I got the new system in it late last fall just before everything froze up. Hopefully I meet some other local boaters while I am running here. That would be kool .

Nice! I have a couple of ponds like this near me. Unfortunately some homeowners don't like FE in their backyard.

Ha ha, who cares if they like fe or not ,
They didn't exactly like us "damn punk kids" skateboarding in they're empty pools either, but that never stopped us ....

Just need a good dog to put the run on the filthy birds! And the boat to scare them off the water.
Hate those dirty disgusting crapping things! You'd be doing the home owners a favor, those things will pollute the water with their droppings and the grass will also be covered with green goose crap. Can't enjoy a park or water when there is a goose population.
Chances are a more permanent and tasty solution isn't viable with those houses close by.
The town I live in had to hire somebody to put the run on them, the geese were destroying the local parks, couldn't even go see a band at the bandshell downtown without everything coming home covered in goose slime! LOL dogs, firecrackers and automated noise makers.
I'd take a flock of seagulls anyday over a single goose. (Not the 80's band! worse than the geese!)
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?
