loctite ----blue

i've got four screws 3/8 dia x 3/4 lg. that i can't get loose. can anyone tell me how it's done,without breaking something?

Right off the Locktite website:

"For disassembly, shear with standard hand tools and remove with methylene chloride. In rare instances where hand tools do not work because of excessive engagement length, apply localized heat to nut or bolt to approximately 482°F (250°C). Disassemble while hot."

Strange how the manufacturer knows how to do it.....

fluid- i wasn't sure about the heat,i'm fooling with getting a $1200 exersize machine into my basement! i have to take it apart to get it through the doorways. it weights about 400 lbs. and is very hard to handle. thanks for the reply.-------john
