Need help choosing new video camera

My trusty Kodak Zi6 "flip-style" vid cam has begun to fail and I'd like to replace it. I'm clueless when it comes what to get so any camera savy advice will be welcomed. There's still some "flip-style" cameras on the market but most camera selections I see are the normal "point and shoot" camera style for stills that also do vids. Here's features I'd prefer :

    at least 720 HD
    changeable memory card
    long battery life
    image stabilization
    easy youtube upload
    large as possible screen size.

I see lots of brand-name "point - and - shoot / video cameras in the $80 - $100 range that seem to fit my needs. Any advice or recommendations/links ?

    Thanks,

    Tony

Problem with most point and shoots is they will not use the zoom. so you have to set the zoom where you want it then focus and take the video

Jim, thanks for answering; was hoping I could avail myself to your expertise. I need to keep within budget - am considering this - it seems to have what I need - not that concerned with zoom but this has some version of it

I have been looking at something to bring to the pond , not too expensive but would be easy for me to hold while running the boat. I find BandHphotovideo.com to be a good link to see different make and specs.
here as an example is what you are looking at:
              http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...al_Camera.html
Besides it doesn't zoom, for my taste I like the 3" LCD sreen to have at least 460,000 pixels, anything below that for me is too grainy to enjoy the playback. just my $.02
Too many boats, not enough time...

Tony, here is what we are using to film our boats running and racing. Velcro it to the brim of a baseball cap. the lens are interchageable, get the A and B lens.

Sony just came out with a new camcorder, looks pretty cool and even has a projector mode so you can show your vids on a wall, I saw it on shop nbc on tv.

Very interesting; I'll look into that. Thanks for pointing me in that direction. My friend Questtek brought a bunch of cameras like these back from China. Hmmmm...
