John, Don't waste your time. How does one reason without common sense or knowledge of history.
How many amount to your description of "a few" 5? 50? 5000? 5 million? The whole war between Christians and Muslims has gone on for eons. Todays daily violence and demonstrations about the sacrilege of burning a book make sense to you? Do you get that hypocrisy? Burning of a book? What puported document signifies intolerance and yet is articulated to support muslims rights to commit murder? I dont get it. No one in the real world gets it. Yet we tolerate it? This double standard they force on others is the very reason an ultimate show down with a hideous mentality is why another genocide is right around the corner. And it wont be for the better of the world but a condemnation forced upon us all. Yet it will be paid one day.

everyone is entitled to their opinions..but killing for religion is senseless..some peoples faith in their beliefs/religion is so strong it clouds all common sense and has brainwashing effect on their very existence and purpose for living..these personality types are dangerous in my opinion.not so much their religion itself but the interperatation of that religion in society...i am not afraid to say that i believe in nothing. it works for me..i mean even steven hawking thinks we came from nothing
and rummy i agree with u in a sense that america has a sense of being self rightous if i am interperating your sarcasm correctly.i am glad i am an american but it feels like we have unwanted baggage/burden needlessly when we try to police the world all the time"FE" STANDS FOR FRUSTRATING EXPLOSIONSComment

Um, let's see : Muslim terrorists killed 3000+ Americans at the WTC and routinely blow up/kill innocent civilians worldwide in the name of their religous fervor (with the promise of a reward of 47 virgins awaiting them). That alone speaks volumes about the mentality espoused by progenitors of such a concept and the similar lack of reality orientation by the believers of such lunacy. Referencing the relatively milder reaction to the 16 civilian deaths compared to the massive and deadly uprising over the Koran burning incident, a member of Afganistan's highest clerical body, the Ulema Council, Hafez Abdul Qayoom said "When something happens to their religon, they (Muslims) are much more sensitive and have a much stronger reaction to it. To Muslims, and especially Afghans, religon is a much higher concern than civilian or human casualties."
Here's an idea :

We do have a strange sense of self righteousness. We have gone to war to prevent the spread of communism. We believe that a country has a right to their own form of government...As long as it is democratic. Fanaticism is not only pertains to religion. There are people who will maime or kill you on a belief. Not just one or all of the many sects of Muslim religion. When that weird baptist church was picketting funerals, Did we say that all Christians were picketting funerals? How about all Baptists? One of the problems we must free ourselves from is the generalizations of peoples. When we do that it often leads to un-warranted fears. Which soon changes to paranoia. Which leads to psychotic behavior. Next thing you know, you're reinacting scenes from Platoon with Charlie Sheen. Don't reinact scenes with Charlie Sheen.
Seriously, often times foreign people don't hate the american people. They just don't like what our government is trying to do them. Same as us.Government Moto:

Hit it on the head Rip........ Ha ha , I remember those Muslims chanting in the streets like the entire nation is behind the terrorists..... Maybe we should just drop a big bomb on all there hot spots instead of messing around any further ...... There religion is one sided and all they do is produce opium, hate and oil ..... Just need to bomb them again real good everytime one of them try's to be a hero and otherwise just leave them alone.... Maybe a good nuke everytime they terrorize us will stop it , something that leaves a big crater and renders there land useless for growing opium...."Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex... It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction."

Lets face it they look for any reason to kill us. And its not a 1,2,5,10 or 100 people. Its thousands or tens of thousands that are willing to act on that.Steven Vaccaro
