Cheap good camcorder for boating video.

Hi,
I am looking for a camcorder that has better clarity than my canon power shot a520 camera.
Just was wondering what other members are using and how they like theirs.
I have bin looking at some used ones on craigslist to but was unsure what was good out there.

I picked up a Contour but it sucks for any distance so it'll be the ride along.Then I got a Nikon Coolpix S6200.I'ts pretty good but I notice a little lag in the autofocus when you zoom.. I've got it mounted on my transmitter and want to try it on my hat.
I don't always have someone with me.

Hi,
If you are asking how.
This is what I do on mine but I just can not zoom and drive yet.
And I do not look at the screen I just aim the tx like a side arm gun,
It will get easier the more you do it to.
Just remember to stay in frame with the tx and boat as you drive it,
Just about all my video's are shot this way.

I would suggest an old gopro hero2 if you can get it reasonably priced. Then if u feel like sticking it onboard you have waterproofing taken care of.

I would do a little more home work on it before you buy one.

I got it for less than $100. I like it because it is water proof and if i fall into the water, at least i can video my usual clumsiness.

I don't have any camcorder and i really like sony hdr-as15 (cause is the only action cam with image stabilizer)and ioncamera (cause you don't need any case to make it waterproof).
Both are action cams.
