Looking forward to new health care program

I just know the health care program is going to be great. We have such a smart, articulate, young president that was shackled by the last president. Nevermind that the outlook for costs is up 100 billion dollars to over $478 billion was that was projected last year. As Nancy Pelosi stated, let's just vote it in and see what we have. I expect the lowest cost best coverage ever, once they mandate and add in things as it goes. I realize that the people are not smart enough to make decisions alone and we need great leadership to do what's best for us.

Soon we can have Government paid, on demand abortions as needed as well. One cannot really be considered accountable for having sex and becoming with child, it was not planned, it's not our fault.

Oh it's going to be great with everyone that works paying more taxes, 25% of our population (KY) is on foodstamps anyway, maybe that can climb to 50%?

I look forward to Washington guiding us into the future of greatness, better than ever before.

P.S. If I miss spelled anything or used incorrect wording, I was educated in the 48th ranked system in America. I however did pay $30k in taxes (Fed, State, SS, Local ect) I am doing my share to pay for the ones that never work.

I love you guys, your so positive!

Do you by any chance dislike Obama? I can't tell. How many threads do you need. Each one ends the same. There has to be better forums for you. Do a google search. Do be so upset when you have opposed opinions. It just looks childish.

Obama? Nothing is his fault, he inherited it all. I look forward to a great future with more Washington insider leadership. I am sorry I called you a moron by the way.

Obama is just a cog in the great machine we call our government. Whether it be him or some other cog, regardless of party, they as individuals can do only so little. We need representation that truly represents the people. Not big business or special interest groups. These two are part of an even bigger problem in D.C. Our government has been driven to service the needs of the few and screw the needs of the many. Healthcare is a system that is very broken. No body wants to fix it by making the hard choices. Healthcare and fuel costs are putting a stranglehold on the growth of businesses and the prosperity of the american people.

          Prosperity?

Everything needs to be equal......no prosperity needed, that's not a good thing. Once the Gov. Is running everything, it can handed out evenly and fairly. Some will work, others will not until they are re-educated and re-trained to the new Government standards. You can study it in Germany 1930.

It's not fair while some work and some not. Everyone needs and I believe that most want, to be productive. Don't get me wrong, I certainly do not approve of the able bodied getting a free ride. But it is much better for us and this country to be working, earning a paycheck, paying taxes and purchasing goods and services. Mostly from american companies. It's hard for small to medium businesses to function when healthcare is strangling them or big businesses with unfair business practices killing them...http://compliancesearch.com/complian...big-companies/
Yep. that's really fair.. Can you say with any certainty that the people who are "fleecing" the system are Republicans or Democrats? Or would you just say that they are crooks?

I wouldn't say that we are headed to communism. But we are becoming plutocratic. And if history has taught us anything, can be just as bad.

The media has distorted humanity and empathy by utilizing our fears against us. They redefined the meaning of Socialism. Caring for your fellow man and trying to help others out is not socialism. It's being human.

When one stops trying to do for themselves. Remember the saying "God helps those who help themselves". As I said, "I certainly do not approve of the able bodied getting a free ride."
Every now and then, someone needs a little help. No shame in that. But when someone, who is able bodied, continually wants help, should be ashamed.

But back on topic, If businesses weren't so strapped with ridiculous healthcare costs, how much more profitable would they be? Have we forgotten what rising healthcare costs almost did to our auto industry in the 90's? Well that and producing inferior quality products. Which probably can be indirectly attributed to rising healthcare costs. There is no one entity that is responsible. But collectively they are all responsible. Or should I say irresponsible.

HEATH CARE IS CRAZY! Small business is being crushed by it. I have to literally pay $22k a year for just my family's health care. And thats not a great plan. Its middle of the road.

One of my customers wives just got done with a double knee replacement, he has one of the "platinum" Blue Cross plans, he is battling with the insurance company to provide a couple of days worth of rehab. The doctors are saying she badly need it.

Government HAS to get involved. But not in providing the plans. Regulation and tort reform are a must!
