MY PAIN - when you just can't have what you want, it sucks!!!!

Over the last week I've been forced to be working beside our lake every evening and just wishing I had the time to play with my toy's, here's a pic of the choice I've been faced with every night. It sure is hard keeping the Family / work / Play ratio in check.

anytime you like mate, I enjoy watching boats race down the streight and not have to pack up after. It's been killing me having to do some work around here and with the kids on holidays it makes running our business very difficult to allow any time for play .

life gets even better for me, I've been blessed with a new road surface through out the entire park, thats the huge entrence area large enough to park 6 4x4's towing caravans and the road surface goes in kind of a kidney shape on our 9 acre L shaped block. Without ranting too much, this means I've got a sh!t load of perfect flat tarmac so lil merv will be getting a road conversion. I took it out this evening with the only change since the beach being the road tires and it performed reasonably well considering the rear dif needs to be reshimmed. I'm hoping they'll come back in the next few day's to sweep the roads clean and repaint my marks, then this parks going to be like an rc haven for me, the lake for boats, the huge flat dusty area for off road, the visitors car park/ front entrence and over on the dusty flat theres enough room to fly planes and choppers. There's plenty of open air space as the park is in the bottom corner of Victoria Park which has two football ovals, a hockey field, a soccor field all surrounding the lake. Over the xmas period, one of my customers flew a parkzone stryker F27c http://youtu.be/SMdMUdHnuQA he drove it like he's had it a while, it was very exciting as he performed stunts and tricks. I'm stuck here 24/7, I may as well make the most of it.
Any tips on a good road set up for the merv, link to threads????

you'll have to bring a truck with you Wayne in a few days after some shapings done I'll be needing some beasts to test out the final addition to my little rc heaven, "Millzee's world".lol. Six truck loads of soil that has to sit there till after easter, to top it off, dude told my missus that I'll have to water it as it's very fine dirt and will blow away lol, so she sent me out to protect our precious dirt. This may just put monsty in a box or it'll become another fun playtime that I'll have to fit in, I'm a little excited, sorry.

            this is what I found

so then I thanked the sky lol

            and got to watering

I still have more shaping and watering to do but I hope to have this thing ready next weekend. I recon I can get a few good launch ramps and I'll face them all to one landing ramp. I want to take a heap out of the guts of this one I did tonight so it'll be more inverted and lauch the truck higher rather than further, it has a good length and smooth enough run up and if I hit it hard enough I may clear that branch that's a bit of a 50/50, it'll get cut off after the first time I hit it and off course I'll have the video camera in good hands.
