    RIP Dan Wheldon

If you follow racing this past Sunday was a sad day. Indycar driver Dan Wheldon was killed in a horrific acccident at the Indycar race in Las Vegas.
He was the 2005 Series Champ and a 2 time Indy 500 winner. Dan was only 33. He was a great talent and fun to watch, he will be missed.

I was watching the coverage with my son. We are both huge racing fans and kind of knew what the outcome would be but praying the whole time we were wrong. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

When I saw that roll hoop was gone off the car I got that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. I have never seen a roll hoop taken off like that before. Then they covered that car with a tarp and I felt then... well you know
