LOL my town has the highest unemployment rate in Ontario! If you take into account all the out of work or under employed it's at least 20%.
In the last 30 years we have lost most of G.E, all of OMC and Westclocks, Alfa Laval, a lot of Fischer Guage has close or moved and GM in Oshawa has... well you all know how GM is.
Our town council decided we didn't need the ethanol plant, so it's in the next township over! What do you expect when it's you re-elect the town drunk repeatedly!

Voting gives you no authority. I don't believe a political process that hasn't worked yet will ever fix itself on the provincial or federal level.

IMO corruption is exponentially related with the higher levels of Gov.

That is 100% gospel! I know you guys are frustrated up there, and Monday is your Holiday to boot. The degree of taxes you guys pay is criminal. I'm with Ray in opinion that its going to take grassroots, boots to butts, to fix the social mentality that has creeped into politics. Hopefully this new guy Micky dee has some skeletons in his closet to come out get him booted out.

Yes I voted, I always do now but, my voted would have been considered a waste in your mind anyway.

You are comparing tv to rc boats as a hobby, no go. Yes, it is true niether are nessecary but, I think I'm much better off with tv in the trash and boats as a hobby. Think about it, nobody watching tv anymore. It would be awesome!!! More people might get out and re establish communities!!

Both are hobbies to some people ray...lots of folks like to watch movies and when it comes to TV's, size does matter. So your statement is a no go.

Think about how much money we spend (waste) on this hobby....could do a lot of good elswhere if given to the right charities. That would help "re establish communities.
