Where do you run your boat?

Hello, interested in the places where people run their boats :)

I run of that little pier by the white boat house :) Situated in the northern part of norway, namely Lofoten.
    This is my birthplace.

Pictures is taken from my porch.

          Beautiful!!

          Indian Lake Ohio for me!
I love sitting on the deck and running my boats! Or if it gets too hot I just sit on the couch in the AC.
The deck goes about 3 feet over the water.

Nice place, a deck would be sweet to have!

Hehe, yeah it´s my name. I´ve lived here for about 20 years :) Lofoten is probably one of Norway´s most beautiful places!

Her´s a pic from the summer. Took this while I drove to work about midnight! 5 min from where I live. Midnight sun is a real view :D

And here´s a pic from a couple weeks ago, from my porch again.

Well enough bragging :D You should come here one day!
Edit: Sorry for crappy iPhone pics :)

Very sweet. Not bad pics at all.... And I still hate you!!! But more now.

That midnight sun pic is awesome. I would live to live there in the summer.... and kill myself in winter!

The water in your bay, is that fresh water, or salt?

Unfortunately salt, but I wash my boats after the soak quite thoroughly :D So that´s a con for me. Nearest freshwater I can drive to is 15 min away :)

                          Orjan,

I figured I would sleep on it and calm down... I still hate you!

This is what the boater like to call Big Pond Reservoir. This is my last remaining freshwater lake that I can use due to the massive amount of protection rights and fishing companies taking over lakes
It is a 20min drive from my house when the traffic is clear. Completely man made so the excess water in the near by china clay pits gets flushed into it. I have a closer lake 10 mins away but that has protection rights all over it.
I am definitely gonna move, boating is getting smashed on the head by fishermen I reckon they will take over this reservoir soon too as I have seen some massive fish jumping.

                              I envy all of you!
