      ae is good truck,if they would get rid of the belt driven part of it.i have a slash 4x4 with a tekin 5.5 and mamba max pro esc on 2s,and i eat up the ae's on the track

          no,actually some of the guys have been doing it for about 20 years.....i just have my truck set up right,and know how to drive it.The next truck to be added to the collection is the new Losi with a tekin 4.5 and mamba max pro

            The Slash 4x4's are eating everything up at our track...and these guys are series racers...out of the box it leaves much to be desired, but with a few mods they are formidable foes...hmmm, seems to be a Traxxas trait, lol...

              i think the 5700 motor is to high a kv your going to want the longer can like the 1410 or 1415 that castle has for the extra torque alot of guys are using 550 size motors like the new tekin sc4x and castle

                    I run a 3660 3500kv on 2s is my slash 4x4 and its awesome! 16x54 gearing...stock is 13x54. With a really high kv motor like that I would watch temps and gear accordingly. But from my experience the setup I have on 2s is more than enough for bashing/track applications.

                    Oh and the slash 4x4 is tough!

                      4x4 is tough sometime but not all, this is experience of my one of friend.
