Can't you buy the whole system (TX, RX, servos, RX switch and 4 AA pack) for the same price or less?
I've used a lot of radio systems in my time and that one is towards the top of my list as worst if not the worst. Ever try to adjust he trims when your fingers are wet or a little oily? Can't do it.

The sad part is, someone new to RC is probably going to buy that, not knowing that 2.4ghz technology exists.

Besides, isn't proboat slowly switching most (if not all their models) to 2.4ghz?

lmao. this is what came with my apache rescue boat....so far its the only vessel i own that hasnt broke.....best boat in my fleet so far
