Its beginning to look like pro players might not be in either countries olympic teams for much longer. I saw a TV interview about team injuries and both the USA and Canada were saying that its too much risk.

Its been a good run for medals hasnt it? Some very talented young folks showing their stuff but it will be all over in just a few more hours.

The greatest honour is to play for your country, just ask the football/soccer players who make much more cash than hockey players. It is just the NHL trying to protect the interests of the teams, not the players desires.

That was a great game. My inlaws were calling me thru out the game, BTW they are in Peterborough (you bunch of crazy Canucks!) and were taking pot shots at me all afternoon. Glad it turned out the way it did. Now when I see them this summer we can argue about politics and not sports!

That's not true, and I have proof!

He didn't tax, spend, or give away the Nobel prize, did he?!?!?! He earned that as much as he earned an Olympic medal.
