    How about Amy Bishop Anderson?

What do you guys think of the wacko? She was obviously disturbed and had gotten away with murder, along with many other outright crimes. Did the system fail to punish her because she was a woman? An intellectual? There are some very disturbing facts when you look at her past and it appears that over the years she simply was not prosecuted for what reason or reasons? It doesnt make any sense in retrospect.

The emerging portrait of neurobiologist and murder suspect Amy Bishop shows a disconnect between how she saw herself and her life and the actual reality of her experience.

What she was working on is interesting. But obviously she has some deep seated psychological issues.

Were at the precipice in this nation life, the heavily laden are gonna start dropping out of the chain-gang. Peoples fault tolerances are starting to fail. People are mad everywhere and the centrist are starting to come on-line too. I'm looking for an Island with Cable TV... George Carlin said It's best to be a Spectator...I'll watch on CNN.

I always enjoy what you write. It's not a left or a right thing. But an unrestricted opinion not bias'd by influential and often distorted party lines. Keep up the good posts!

Its not what you know, its who you know.

The system didn't fail, the people in charge did. An investigation should be done to see who was at fault, then they should put her in the chair and listen for the sizzle.

Thanks Dom, But that's the only place to be... Objective. All are guilty and complicit. Like a Homicide: The shooter, The driver, The Gun supplier and The Harborer are all guilty of partaking in the crime...

I don't completely agree. Why is the gun manufacturer culpable? What if she used a kitchen knife? Would Chicago Cutlery be responsible? Would Neiman-Marcus be responsible? Is Cessna Aircraft Company culpable for the moron that crashed into the IRS building? Are Boeing and McDonald-Douglas responsible for 9-11?. I do agree that the shooter, the driver, and the harborer are complicit in the crime, those are people. You can't blame the hardware, just the people that mis-use the hardware.

P.S. I will grant you that if the gun supplier was involved in ILLEGAL weapons transfers to felons, HE would be culpable.

Let's just say that everyone who knew or actively participated should carry some level of guilt if judged guilty.

Truthfully, I don't think many of us are far off from our views. We are angry about the same things and equally disappointed. Sometimes we may disagree on a resolution, but I do think we all want the same things. We would like the technological advances of today coupled with social interaction and responsibility of days gone by.

That's where the social responsibility comes in. Imagine a politician with that?

Dr.Jet did you not see that in my comment... a Rock, a Gun, a Car, et'al. The supplier of the item used as a weapon is just as guilty.

Only if the supplier is aware that it is to be used for nefarious puropses. In that case, I agree. But if I give you a rock, beacuse I think it is ornate, and you use it to smash in some guy's skull, can you say I'm at fault?
