    Why Are Americans so tweeked?

Why are we so angry these days?

Is it because of ever increasing taxes?
    The continual bipartisan bickering?
    Financial institutions continually being irresponsible?
A President who takes a hands off approach on some issues?
You constantly feel that someone is trying to separate you from your hard earned cash?
    Targeted and aggressive marketing?
    Media bias and sensationalization?
Government intrusion into our personal lives?
    Corrupt and non-substainable health-care system?
    Out of control spending?
    Constitutional rights being "whisked" away?
Big business influence and control over our government?
A government that doesn't listen to it's citizens?
    Immigration?
    Deeper class divide?
The middle class went from 1/3 to almost 1/2 of government revenue?
    War?
Too many kooks who represent themselves as pundits?
    People are cynical?
    Too many drug prescriptions?
    Just mad because it's cool?
    Other reasons?

Anger and frustration are normal responses to what goes with our country. Be it government, politics, business. They are not fixable at our level unless we revolt and force change. What we see as illegal might only be slightly outside the boundries of morality. But still not illegal in law.

Not at all. Too many issues would result and we have not quite yet crossed over to that point. But if things do not improve for the better to our citizens the threat looms in our future. When you hear of gun bans and government above the law you know those with an agenda are trying to remove such a threat. Its dangerous to speak of revolution, yet free speech is the highest held amendment in our constitution for the masses. I do fear that if the left continues the way it has been behaving for the last 20 years its only a matter of time before anarchy spreads like wildfire. Maybe its primitive behavior at its worst. I dont know honestly. I do not advocate violence even though I have used it during my service to this country.

A better solution to change is the way all great men of history have accomplished the task. Through peace and staying the course.

For what I've seen, It's not a matter of a left or a right. Nor do I buy into one party being responsible. Greed and corruption has become the order of the day. The politicians dream up issues for us to fight amongst ourselves. We've had well over 200 years to "tweak" the system to get things right. Now these clowns pump out more legislation than Toyota pumps out Corolla's. With all the tax cuts these guys throw at us, who is truly benefiting? Why do our taxes keep going up? Must be a play on words. "We will cut some of the taxes on the new taxes we're going to implement." The government relies on our short term memories and our fixation to party lines to pull off the greatest heists in history.

I remember when I first learned that about 40% would support dems regardless, and 40% would support rep regardless. Being in the republican camp, I wondered how the dems got 40% of the population to be so blindly ignorant

Imagine how I felt when I realized 80% of the population was being blinded and I opened my eyes. Yep, not real proud, but I am seeing better now.

Now when people blindly defend one side or the other, I at least understand where they are coming from. It is sad, but having been there I can relate.

In indiana, senator Bayh just announced he is not seeking reelection. 5 days to go on the deadline I guess, and he announces this. Seems odd like he is trying to settle a score with the dem party. I do not know that much about him, not always liked his policies, but he is more of a centrist. Now we have a old school republican comming in after being a lobbyist and is going to try to take the seat back. Great, just what we need, more of the old guys in.

I think we need the house in the dems hands, the senate in the rep hands, and a president that neither chamber likes. That way they get very little done and the citizens can get back to work.
