My sister is in the hospital in the Philippines, she needs a surgery to save her life, but the hospital won't save her because of lack of ability to pay. How in the hell does that doctor sleep at night?

I feel horrible for your sister and her situation. Sadly, you do not have to go to the Philippines to be in the same situation. Estimates are that right here in the USA 40,000 people a year die because they cannot afford to pay to stay alive.

Here's what our family is dealing with...

According to the hospital, Erlinda (nickname=Isang) is suffering from complications caused by a Ruptured Ovarian Cyst. This rupture has caused some kind of twisting (I couldn't understand this part because of the poor phone connection & thick accent) She needs blood, but the hospital doesn't provide that, family members are required to donate what she needs or buy some. The only member of the family nearby with the right type blood has flu-like symptoms & not qualified to donate right now. The female doctor (i'm working on getting her name) insulted my family in the waiting room and said, out loud, that we need to get her the money before she can do anything for her.
She's lucky I wasn't there or...

Anyway, I wired all the help that you have so generously provided us, and I'm now waiting for a status update...
