    Ft. Hood - Hero

The police officer who ended the Fort Hood massacre by shooting the suspect is known as the enforcer on her street, a "tough woman" who patrolled her neighborhood and once stopped burglars at her house.

thank you Officer Munley... it could have been in any other place in the country, just hope that if does happen, there are no fatalities.

Well done lassie. I just wonder where the other guys in white coats were on the state of mind of this individual.

It's truly a sad day when innocent people are faced with these sort of tragedies. For both the individuals, their families and all that this affects.

This man should have never been elevated to his position based on his mental problems and his issues with foreign combat which he would have not fought in a military sense. This is a very sad story!! May he rest in hell, when his time comes

Hopefully people will see this for what it is, the act of a deranged person. His religion is not part of it. There are over 10,000 Muslims in the Armed Forces serving with honor. The tragedy will be if people besmirch them for the actions of this crazy man.

No more so than when a Fundamentalist Christian kills an abortion doctor. It doesn't make all Christians bad. Just like this madman's actions says nothing about the rest of the people who share his religion.

He did this because he was suicidal/psychotic, not because he was a Muslim. He was not a terrorist, he was a severely deranged person.

Yep. Last night I heard a couple of Cable news networks put a spin on why he did it. Sighting his religion and that he was in conflict with his religion and what the army wanted him to do. All this before they found out he was still alive and wasn't speaking. When there is little or no news, make your own story up. That's some kind of reporting...

I'd say when a Fundamentalist Christian kills an abortion doctor, that his beliefs have something to do with it also. Doesn't make all Christians bad either but none the less, how did it not play a part? Maybe we shouldn't ask our Muslim military members to fight in Muslin countries. Probably inviting problems. ( because of religion)..

I don't think Darin's intention in starting this thread was on how people will view this maniac. That could and should be for another thread.

I hate to admit it, but I am glad that a-hole is still alive. Maybe we can open his brain and figure out what the hell he was thinking and come up with an answer to prevent it from happening again...
...Right before the federal government reams his ass in trial and puts him to death..
I've done alot of business with Ft Hood soldiers and they go through alot already. For something like this to hit so close to home is just insane. My thoughts are with the victims and families..
