no thats a real photo, the middle of australia is very dry at the moment and gale force winds picked up millions of tons of dirt and blew it clear across the east coast of au

It is very real mate, not 2 min after that picture it was pitch black and I mean pitch black for quite some time. That pic was taken by a freind at Umuwa settlement approx 460km SW of Alice Springs. The same storm hit here in Broken hill at 3.30pm the same day ( approx 1500km in 6-7 HRS) and we where placed into darkness. Check this out. No tricks, just dirt

That one was just before xmas 2007 and was pretty good but just not in the same league as the few we have had the last few weeks. I was up the river running some boats when that came in, rained mud

                Andy you BIG girl,
You think that is dust??? Wait until St Kilda start summer training and you will see dust. Next year the umpires will not rob us of victory. Lions umpired by Donkeys is what we were.

They have Paddy on his plane for the dingos, Andy with his beat up car for the joeys and Douggie brought in at huge expense by the Aussie government for the lambs only.

All joking aside that was one hell of a sandstorm

                    Edit

Did that sand scar many of the homes, when it struck?
