I believe people have the right to defend themselves as there are alot of dangerous individuals in today's society. But Ted Nugent is a little scary.

Steven, the only problem with his viewpoint is that he would be charged with manslaughter. I do not like the ability of citizens to carry consealed weapons, that allows every wacko, punk, gangster etc. to mow down innocent people. I presume he goes on stage with gun in his pocket.

          ???????? You are clueless!

In this country you can not legally carry a concealed weapon without a full background check and take a safety course in most states.

Fact is that the group in this country that commits the lowest amount of crimes are those with concealed carry permits.

Cops commit serious crimes about 12:1 with citizens with concealed carry permits.

You are 100 times more likely to die in a doctors office than by the hand of a person who has a concealed carry permit.

On average Americans use guns 2.5 million times a year to STOP crime from happening and only 8% of the time a weapon is fired.

Keddy's kids said he sometimes wore a bullet proof vest. Wonder if if allowed his bodyguards to carry a gun?

I may be clueless but as I stated you lads have to get off the wild west scenario. As a matter of interest I have used firearms since I was 8 years old for hunting purposes and not the human species

Why do nearly all mass shooting happen at schools? because they are GUN FREE ZONES! It is because the shooters know that there will be no resistance. Plain and simple.

The fact is you are safer on the streets because of your fellow Americans who carry. Why do DC and Chicago have some of the highest gun crime? Because they have gun bans in place to keep the citizens unarmed, so only the bad guys carry guns.

I carry but dont hunt. There is no need except as a barbaric sport, a way to prove ones manhood.

I think all citizens in school should be taught gun safety.

Steven, that is the problem if everyone carries a gun and gets pissed off in a trafic or domestic violent discussion...out comes the gun. If I was a storeowner in the jewelry trade in the USA, yes I would have a gun sitting pretty close. You guys have to really look at your gun laws

Well, If there weren't so many nut jobs on the loose, we wouldn't have a need for gun control. Responsible, emotionally stable, trained, individuals should be allowed to own a weapon. Nut cases, gang bangers, criminals, potentially violent individuals should not be allowed to own anything more lethal than a "spork." Brandishing a weapon to scare people is irresponsible. Threatening to shoot someone is irresponsible. Going off on a tangent about shooting people is nuts.

Who needs a gun. A knife is just as dangerous. So lets ban knives.

In the city I'm in there are more knife related fights, stabbings and killings than I like to think about. Just about on a daily basis. Most, the police tell me are not reported. I don't remember the last time there was a shooting reported.

Why? ITs not helped in the UK or Canada! Except for homicide Canada beats the USA in every form or crime rate, and all those crime rates had major increases since gun registration......HHHMMMMM go figure

Home invasion in the US usually happen while the occupants are away from the house, in both Canada and the UK you are more likely to have the Bad Guys invade while you are there!

I think we just need to execute anyone who uses a gun in a violent crime to rape, assault or murder another. That would stop much of the crime
