I saw some guy on TV a few months ago. He used to be a VP of some major insurance company. He said that they were going to do these kind of stunts. It doesn't surprise me.

You mean it's not? Next you're going to tell me that the sun doesn't revolve around the earth.

Bottom line. There are alot of solid reasons to push some kind of healthcare reform. I'm just waiting for some kind of scandal or event that will take the focus off of healthcare reform. Another sex scandal? Terrorist attack? Dirt dug up on Obama's past such as him smoking pot as a teenager.

Personally I think this that more people just being pissed off at Congress than a great conspiracy. It is kind of funny that the states are squawking big time about the cost of health care but they are the ones who have passed laws that restrict Insurance companies from operating in all states. Don't you think the competition that this would open up would lower the costs of health care insurance? Also make it a portable insurance policy for people moving to another state.

Don't believe that for a minute. Alot of insurance companies operate in many states. Each state has their own insurance commissions and laws governing how they operate in each state. The ones that have more consumer protections are the states that these guys are probably whining about.
