    Don't Try This at Home !

    Slipped on a shorty glove to go for a ride. Found the other glove was soaked from the recent rain. Since I'm an innovative genius () I wasted no time figuring out a quick way to dry it out. After a reasonable sounding 15 second "dunk" in the microwave oven at full tilt it came out in a cloud of steam - dry and hard - and it seemed different for some reason - (didn't quite fit either)

      They harden leather for holsters, armour, saddles etc by boiling it. Unfortunately there's no real way to re-soften it.
