Just an FYI...........cuz alot of stuff is old and has just been re-invented. It was also really called the "backslide" in the early 80's and was incorrectly called the moonwalk by Michael.

It might go back even further, if I'm not mistaken mimes use to use it as part of their acts... I read about it all a while back, just forgot most of it lol ...

The first use may have been by Cab Calloway in 1932. The Bailey video dates from 1955. Jackson never claimed to have invented it, but he certainly made it world-famous.
