    What a pinhead....................'waterproof' means bashing thru puddles, running in the rain etc etc................not purposely submerging it for several minutes..........

      Ive driven my summit underwater many times without issue. Thru swimming pools etc.. Knock on wood

        I was just saying that Traxxas probably meant more along the lines of very wet bashing.............not U-boat usage.

          Hehe I know. I abuse mine. Lucky so far.... I've replaced a few things already, nothing major yet. Running in mud water seems to do the most damage

            its a fact you can toss em into water submerge em and drive em back out thats the nice thing about brushed,

              I love my Summit, but I wont ever submerge it, not on purpose anyway. I am still running brushed, a Dewalt 14.4v motor, but I did switch to single servo, a Hitec "water resistant", not waterproof like the two servos that came with it, those are in my boats!
