No, I don't think ONLY welfare recipients voted for Obama. And though I'm sure a lot of autoworkers were happy about the bail-outs, I'm not so sure I was. I kind of look at it as representative of socialism: rewarding failure (and punishing success).

And no, Fox news didn't tell me anything. I pulled the plug on television (I have NO television reception or cable) in 1995. The final straw was the "news," sensationalized, very slanted and ridiculous. I think if everyone shot their TV sets, the country would be in a lot better shape!

We did survive Bush, and we will survive Obama, but the point is we shouldn't be picking leaders we have to hope to survive, we should be picking leaders who aren't the typical lying, stealing scum that we end up having to choose from. Every election in my memory has been a "pick your poison" situation, and we're steadily losing our liberties.

I truly despise politics and I wish I had never posted in this thread! I didn't mean any offense to anyone; I was just showing my frustration.

I think Paul has to get the point our more that he was a doc. To me that's big. I like the idea that he hasn't been sucking off the government as a pollititian all his life. Plus he has a better idea on what's needed to fix heathcare.
