I had the same thing happen to me and nothing was done about it,
Mods or not and so much for rules past and present.
SSDD and a new year to come,
He is the seller and can do what he wants and sell to who he wants.
And nothing will be done again,
Just as before.

Easy fix. If you don't follow the rule you don't get to play any more.

Now, did you have a suggestion to improve the for sale forum, or do you want to continue to walk towards the door?

I have no problem with that.
I don't want to stir the pot here, my feeling is that there are two kinds of situation, one is that the rules are not followed or respected, the other is not having a clear understanding which leads to some unfortunate misunderstanding from both parties.
Just yesterday I came across a situation that could have resulted in misunderstanding, mind you that ALL rules were followed. The common sense of all parties resulted in a happy ending. The wording, timing ( or lack of) , and the item that is being sold all require a certain degree of perception from all parties involved, someone is going to lose out on something, but the nature of this F/S thread is just that, it is what it is.

Perhaps that needs to be changed to read 6. ALL offers and deals must be done on the forum and NOT in private messages, over the telephone, text messages, etc! rule changed to "Must" on 8/10/2012. Since it isn't clear to all.

Another suggestion was to make it mandatory for the seller to post where else an item is listed for sale...IW, RRR, ebay etc....that way the buyers will be made aware that it may be sold elsewhere...
