Like the title says, Im looking for the RPM of this motor, put one in a Aquacraft Fire Rescue 17 and running a 3s LiPo, which is a bit too much voltage for the motor . The motor has perfect RPM and Torque for this boat, but Even with tube wrap cooling, it runs HOT. Just trying to find the RPM of this motor, It is a 23 turn and is rated at 14v. I would like to find a replacement motor that gives me the same performance and , that can handle 3s.
Big question is, if the motor is rated for 14volt, why is it running so hot on 11.1v LiPo? The water cooling line is flowing water perfectly. The cooling coil was loose on the motor, so i tightened it up and am going to try it again this weekend. Could the loose coil have been the big issue? Im beginning to think that was a big factor, but hope to get some input on here regarding this.
