That's kinda what I was getting at. This isn't the first model to get the AS3X, and the VTOL design that they hyped with those videos isn't "new".
The only real complaint here is that they were overhyping something secret that quite frankly, isn't that new or groundbreaking as they claimed. There was already the same model (minus the as3x) from electrifly and I think I've seen others as well, and they all look 100 times better than the Hyper Taxi.

I said previously that I hope lots of people do like it. But it's my feeling that many will be disappointed like I was.

I do really like the Beast 3d, and since i was never able to get the first one, if I find a cheap one at a swap meet in a year or 2, I might get to have one. The GeeBee doesn't look that good to me, but I can see how that plane would atleast appeal to some crowds. We haven't had an ultramicro geebee yet that i've seen, and it looks like that model will definitely need to take advantage of the as3x, which is great they paired them together. The GeeBee is more groundbreaking than the Hyper Taxi in my eyes... and without the awful kiddy paint scheme.
