Is there something wrong with the 3.3?

not really, just tired of the mess and what not associated with nitro. It's a 3.3 chassis with the OS18 in it. A few friends have brushless trucks and they are awesome.

I know they mamba monster (a castle motor) is what is commonly used as an upgrade in them... maybe check see i know they have an esc/motor kit for ~ 200...

I was going to offer to buy the motor if it was a stock 3.3..

Gotcha I'll look into that as well. Sorry not a stock 3.3 but the upgraded os18. It's a strong engine.

you could get a Leopard 3674 or 4082 2200kv about $70 with a speedo from HobbyKing less than $70

killer performance, and no different than the $300 Monster system

Here is the matching motor for that esc for 50-bucks. Looks like another castle/leopard clone. Can't beat the price!

That would be faster than the stock VXL on 2s

Honestly , you may be better off selling the Revo , and getting either a e-revo roller and building it up to your liking or a erbe all together. I love my erbe (e-revo brushless edition). She has turned out to be one of the best basher trucks I have owned. And let me say Ive put it through its paces and then some. There are some who bash the "plastic" chassis" but I personally have never had a single issue with it , and I have jumped flipped and tumbled this poor truck to the edge. Since you are NOT new to the RC world then I dont have to tell you RPM rules. My erbe has some upgrades to her , like single servo mod , traxxas 7075 pushrods , rpm trutack in the rear , rpm up front , spektrum radio system (Traxxas 2.4 does the job but like my spektrum better), and a few other mods
                            You broke what?!?!?

I have a revo 3.3 that has less than 3/4 of a gallon of fuel though it. Ball bearings came out of the front main bearing on engine. I was thinking a brushless setup would be neat. I like having the aluminum chassis vs the plastic one on the e-revos. And I have upgrades on this chassis already.
