    Drive up in smoke

    Had a Siemens drive pop on me at work today. ESC's are cheap compared to one of these. Sorry for the quality ... cell phone picture.

      Yep. . . I'm surprised at the amount of abuse our Weg and Allen Bradley drives take at our mine site and still keep going.
      A dream not pursued is not worth holding.

          Huh, interesting. I have about a dozen AB and Siemens drives, I do not think I have lost one in 10 years! Cost a lot more than a ESC, but they last and protect the motor.
