    traxxas slash questions

i was concidering getting one of these to mess around with ( no racing just bashing ). anyways heres my questions :

1.which would be better the 2wd or the 4wd version ?

2.can either of the models be converted to brushless?

3.what do you recommend as far as batteries/esc and motor for what i want to do with it?

    thanks in advance.

the 4x4 IS brushless. Get the 4x4. It is much more capable as a good basher. Run her stock with a 2s 5000mah lipo of at least 20c.
    Fun trucks!

It's excellent. Waterproof gear too. With 2s, you won't be breaking any parts either.

4x4 and I would go to the big bearing motor plate and the alum cone upgrade for the slipper. Great truck on 2s. I did go to a CC max pro just for the tuning ease. Stock esc is fine tho. 3s and things like to break. I also have the 2x and it has a lot of push problems.

I picked up a 2 wd it came with a mamba max and feigo 8xl on 3s will pull wheelies at half throttle and hold till it blows over. With that comes a price tho nmot as good a basher tho holds it own. gotta love big feilds.... If ya want a good backyard basher go 4x4 do it right. Good luck Happy trails and waves...
