    Blackjack Prop adapter

Someone here asked me to make some of these so they could use the stock 3mm prop shaft on their BJ for 3/16" hub props. I do know the M440 on the stock set up is excellent running 4S.

Here it is. Set screw from Drivedog locks on to the orginal shaft...I would grind a slight flat spot. Now you can run 3/16" hub props on 3mm shafts.

What would you estimate the final cost to be?

      Jeff,

While you are tinkering, you may want to add a 5mm to 1/4" prop adapter to your lineup as well... The HyperSport 48, for example, has a 5mm stub shaft... I've had to make my own adapters using 1/4" OD brass tubing, then carefully drilling it out with a very close to a .1968 drill bit... (13/64ths, I think it was... .203125")...

Just sleeves, of course... not as fancy as what you've done here...

Dom...not sure but with shaft only then I would estimate $6. They are SS.

Darin...do you want to take that shaft down to 3/16" or will that boat carry 1/4" props? I can do either.

Okay, Darin. All I need is the length from the strut to the end of the stub shaft. Not sure what nut that takes either but will check.
