    52 inch Super Hawaii

    Hi Folks,
I have a 52" Super Hawaii comming to me. I am planing on a 2 motor 2 drive minimum setup and if i can make it fit a four drive scale setup would be killer! :) I am looking for suggestions for motor and prop options. this will be a sport boat. It is scale and I'm looking for scale speeds. I will also do a build thread when I get it.
Brushed or brushless works for me.

    Thanks in advance,
    Chris

A 52 in hull requires some serious power, 4 sv set ups might work??? but 2 would struggle and most likely let out the genie. twin 800 brushed would work well, id guess running 447 or better. There are several feigao combinations that would work also. but to get any real speed kb xl would be a good option...
Twin cat 9xl,... 29 titan 8xl,....37 in mono kb48 8xl.... 42 in twin elc cat project... 42 in gasser cat 260 modded zenoh''' planes and trucks....

He did say 52",,,so if thats true, dual SV systems will plane it , but not much more.

Yes it is 52" or 133cm!

I have the ABC SuperHawaii (abs plastic) that has a firebreathing 700 that is stupid fast and is crazy to drive! Phase I did take out the gearbox and run it direct. It will powwer slide like a jet boat :D

This SH is Fiberglass and is a sacle replica of the true boat. (no Rocker bottom) I can get 800's easy enough, if i can fit it I'll go four. The KB's sound promising too They are also smaller dia. than the 800's so I am leaning this direction.

It will take three weeks before I get the hull so I don't know all the internal dimentions yet. It is a gas hull that I will convert to electric. I will post picts when it comes in.

          IS IT HERE YET!!?

                Update:
I Sent the paypal for Paul to make my hull on 7/9/2008 I was told it would take 14 days to finish it. Well It has been 3 months and no boat yet! I have sent e-mails and the last responce was 8/30/2008 when Paul said he just got back from holiday and that he would check on the molder to see what the hold up was and get back to me on the following monday. well I have not heard from him since. I have sent e-mails with no response. I have filed a complaint with PAYPAL who says they can do nothing to help. I AM VERY UPSET! I am out one Super Hawwaii hull as well as $660!

Lets hope it eventually shows up. I'm looking forward to this build!
