    41" Falcon Cat with twins

    well I sold my falcon to my soninlaw (ericspeed) and here is his progress

    2x Scorpion 4035 800kv outrunners
    2x Swordfish 240 Hv esc's
    2x Jim Williams custom water coolers
    2x .187 L&R flex shafts with 3/16" prop shafts
    12s Turnigy 5000mah 30c on each motor

      those 4035 are gonna eat up those .150 cables thats 6 horse a piece.

        My mistake......the .150 were on my Maritimo .....these are .187

                those things turn 457's with no problem and yes the continuous pwer output of 4500 watts. You do the math. That setup is gonna be rediculous if you can stay on the water!

                          Motors only pull the amps they need to run...
                          so it depends on props and setup of how many amps pulled, so it could actually be more..
                          Sweet these motors will go 4500watts cont.

                            457 pull about 115 amps on this motor in a hydro.May pull a little more in a cat but less in a double cause hes got a friend helping push the boat(the other motor). I say a x457 cause someones already running one with success on this hull with a 4035 800.

                              @ 37 volts and 115 amps youre looking at 4255 watts a piece. Thats 5.7 horse each.If they ran as singles. Together im sure theyll pull less. Would this mean that a twin can run bigger props?
