My first order of TP's arrived today. Got 4 - 2100's and 2 - 1900's. Got the 36L cooling cans. The Web site recommends the 36S. The 36L look to be the right ones. The labels will have to be removed for the cooling can to go on. I will be engraving the KV number along with a date code on the end bell. I like how the wires are seperated. Bolt pattern is a little different than the 2030 but will work fine. Getting a little fired up again to run electric. Got 3 races coming up. I'll do my best to burn these up. :) Please pardon my crappy picture taking.

That's the way I do all my TPs, I engrave the info on the end bells because that label never lasts and it's usually covered by the can.

The more I look over this motor, don't know why I didn't search this out earlier. This motor makes the 2030 look like a $10.00 motor. Literally not kidding. This transition will not be soon enough.

I called Tp and they recommend 0 degree timing
but said 0-4 degrees was fine also.

Sorry if this a stupid question, what is the difference between Y and D wind

not sure how to explain it (much smarter guys on here than me) but it has to do with the way they are wound
a Y wind usually want higher timing like 11* plus
were a D wind usually want lower timing of 0-3*
